What is MoveTube?

MoveTube is the only real estate search platform built for streaming TV devices like Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, LG, and Samsung televisions. The consumer can search live real estate listings the same way they search movies on Netflix. Also with the integration of iHeartRadio, it adds an entertainment factor to real estate search. Many user have given feedback that MoveTube is now their favorite way to search homes and prefer it over searching on a phone or laptop. Also, because it's on a large screen TV families can now search real estate together, the same way they watch movies.

Is there a decent size audience on the MoveTube?

Yes, that number has been organically growing rapidly, especially after releasing new builds on Samsung and LG. Our largest audience is currently on Roku. Do any search for "real estate" on Roku and you will commonly see the MoveTube channel as the first result. We are working to continue to grow our audience. We do know that MoveTube is addicting and most people spend close to 2 hours each session browsing properties.

How are consumers discovering MoveTube?

Organically mostly. Since we have pioneered real estate search on TV devices the "MoveTube" app generally appears for any "real estate" content search in the apps stores of Roku, Apple TV, etc. Also, we are currently publishing close to 200 Listing Trailer videos to YouTube on a daily basis. While these are primarily designed to bring exposure to the listing and agent, they also make the consumer aware that they can take their real estate search to streaming TV with MoveTube.

What is MoveTube Studio?

MoveTube Studio is an innovative real estate marketing platform combining AI, video and streaming TV to create unique content. Both real estate agents and loan officers can create professional, high-quality marketing tools like branding profiles that display on the TV app listings, AI-generated listing videos, digital property cards, flyers, digital open house tours, and talking multilingual audio tours with their cloned voices.

How does this work with RESPA Compliance?

MoveTube operates on a model that is fundamentally different from traditional listing portals where loan officers and real estate agents jointly purchase leads or ad space, which requires shared costs to remain RESPA compliant.

Our unique model ensures compliance in the following ways:

Agent-Centric Listings: MoveTube provides real estate agents with a powerful platform to showcase their listings and enhance their marketing efforts with some basic tools—at no additional cost. Real estate agents fulfill their financial obligation through the expenses they incur in delivering their listings to us which includes MLS dues, and other natural expenses incurred to acquire the listings that provides us inventory and powers our platform, making it a valuable resource for homebuyers and sellers alike. Agents can brand their personal listings by adding their photo, logo, and contact information, provided they agree to allow a sponsor advertisement to appear on their listings. When creating their profiles, agents can select a sponsor from a list of paying advertisers to display on their listings. Agents may change their selected sponsor at any time. Furthermore, agents are encouraged to generate flyers and social media content that promote their personal listings, while also cross-promoting our advertisers and the MoveTube platform, increasing visibility for all parties. This structure ensures compliance with industry regulations while maintaining a fair and mutually beneficial platform for both agents and loan officers.

Sponsorship Opportunities: Loan officers or other advertisers can create paid accounts on MoveTube to have their ads displayed exclusively on the personal listings of participating agents.

Conditional Advertising: Advertisements from sponsors only appear on agents’ listings when the agents’ profiles are fully completed with branding and contact details. If an agent does not complete their profile, sponsor advertisements are not displayed.

Compliance with RESPA Guidelines

RESPA prohibits the exchange of "things of value" for the referral of settlement service business and the splitting of fees for services not actually performed. However, it permits bona fide payments for goods or services provided, as long as these payments reflect the fair market value of the goods or services rendered.

In our model, advertisers pay solely for the opportunity to have their ads displayed on agents' personal listings. This is comparable to a loan officer purchasing advertising space on a real estate agent’s personal website, a practice explicitly allowed under RESPA, provided that the payment reflects the fair market value of the advertising service and is not linked to the referral of business.

Key Differentiators from Traditional Listing Portals

No Lead Sales: MoveTube does not sell leads. Our platform serves primarily as a branding tool rather than a lead generation service. While consumers can inquire about listings by directly contacting agents via the phone numbers provided in their profiles, our primary focus is on enhancing the visibility of agents’ listings alongside advertisements from paid sponsors and MoveTube itself.

No Agent Ad Sales: MoveTube does not allow agents to purchase ad space on the platform. Unlike many portals that sell ad space on search results pages for specific ZIP codes or on other agents' listings, MoveTube only displays the agent’s profile information on their personal listings, and paid sponsor ad placement on those listings is contingent upon the agent’s permission.

Transparent Value Exchange: Agents contribute their personal listings, including profile information, to the platform, and in return, sponsors pay for advertising space associated with those listings. This exchange is transparent and reflects the fair market value of the advertising services provided.

Premium Agent Services: We are in the process of developing premium services for agents that go beyond basic profile visibility. These services will be exclusively charged to agents, with no involvement of other paid sponsors, ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations.

Are the videos and multilingual audio tours difficult to create?

Not at all, a Listing Trailer can be created by clicking 3 buttons. The entire process takes not much more than a minute. Once created we send an SMS and email to the agent and LO where it can then be shared to socials. Our team also adds the video to our YouTube channel where most will rank very well on Google for the address search.

Creating the Audio Tour with multi-languages is very similar. Both only take a couple of minutes and it's not only easy to do, it's fun!
